Stanley Lehman peacefully said his final goodbye on May 11, 2026, surrounded by family and encircled with love.
He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY, and moved his family to Tucson in 1970 with the hope of improving the health of his beloved wife Renaye (Ricki).
They spent 60 years of love and devotion to each other and he taught his family the legacy of commitment and philanthropy.
Stan was a man of immense character who dedicated his life to his family and his community.
He is survived by his three children, Andrew (Juanita) Lehman, Richard Lehman, and Nancy (Mark) Bishop, grandchildren Ryan Bishop and Tracy (Tom) Schumacher, great-grandchildren Shelby, Londyn, and Andrew Schumacher and great-great-granddaughter Maggie Rae, and remembered by Susan Chaikin, with whom he enjoyed a partnership in his later years.
A dedicated philanthropist, Stan took great pride in supporting organizations that held deep meaning for him, such as The University of Arizona Arthritis Center, The Lupus Foundation, The Ricki Lehman Memorial Library at Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, the Arthur Oleisky Courtyard at Congregation Anshei Israel, as well as many others.
His family will forever remember him as a man who led with generosity and who always put family first.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers from Taylor’s Circle of Friends, Rosa, Danielle, Liz, and Shelley, as well as the entire staff at Harmony Hospice.
