Or Chadash plans poker tournament and casino night

Congregation Or Chadash will hold a Texas Hold’em poker tournament, plus a dinner and casino night, on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Tucson Scottish Rite Cathedral, 160 S. Scott Ave.

The tournament is limited to 150 players on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are welcome, unless sold out. The registration fee is $200. Players will receive $2,500 in chips and an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, and compete for the grand prize of a $2,500 gift card, second prize $750 gift card, and third prize $500 gift card. On-site registration for the tournament is at 5 p.m. The tournament will start at 6 p.m. sharp.

The dinner and casino night will feature an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, slot machines, blackjack, roulette and craps tables. The entry fee is $50. Participants will receive $50 in chips; holders of the most chips at the end of the night will receive gift cards from some of Tucson’s finest restaurants. Additional chips may be purchased throughout the night. Registration and dinner is at 5:30 p.m. The casino opens at 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.

The tournament, tables and casino games will be professionally monitored by Ace Casino Equipment Company.
