JFSA invites all to “Pause with Pittsburgh” on Oct. 27

On Oct. 27, 2018, in was the most brutal anti-Semitic attack in the history of the United States, a gunman opened fire in the Tree of Life building in Pittsburgh, taking the lives of 11 innocent people from three congregations: Dor Hadash, New Light and Tree of Life * Or L’Simcha.

One year later, the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona has invited the local community to take a moment to honor their memory by joining Jews around the world to Pause with Pittsburgh.

Sign up to share a collective moment of remembrance on Oct. 27 at 5 pm EST, no matter where you are. When you register, you will opt in to receive a series of text messages that include:

  • A video with a mourning prayer and the names of the 11 lives lost.
  •  A link to a live stream video where you can join the Pittsburgh community in a public memorial service.
  • An opportunity to submit a message of support
