The Tucson Jewish Community Center will present “Consider Yourself Challenged,” a family friendly fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The University of Arizona TriCats will be on hand to conduct children’s activities and discuss equipment and training required to participate in a triathlon. Mary Kate Callahan, a U.S. paratriathlete and a UA TriCat, will be the guest speaker.

There will be a silent auction and a vendor expo with coaches, event directors and retailers sharing ways to get active in Tucson. Food trucks, beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

All proceeds benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation and will be earmarked for Tucson-area challenged athlete grant requests in 2015. For more information, visit www.challengedathletes.com.

Tickets are $6 for admission only; $25 for adults and $15 for students with a free age-appropriate beverage and raffle ticket sponsored by TriSports.com. Tickets may be purchased at http://tinyurl.com/eventbrite-challenged or at the door. For more information, contact Barry Baker at 490-5334 or txazbaker@aol.com.
