The Tucson Jewish Community Center Fine Art Gallery will present local artist Marcie Feldman with an exhibit of new watercolors, “Tell Me A Story,” Dec. 12-Jan. 18.

A recent transplant to Tucson, Feldman says, “The need to create, to tell a story, comes from a place magical and primal. Come visit the exhibit and bring your stories as you wonder about mine.”

Feldman, a native of New Jersey, has been drawing and painting since childhood. She received her BFA from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, and her MFA from Boston Museum School of Art at Tufts University. She studied in Rome through the Tyler School of Art’s study abroad program; at the Aegean School of Art on the island of Paros, Greece; at the Israeli art colony Ein Hod; and was the recipient of a fellowship to the oldest art colony in the United States, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown,  Mass.

An artist’s reception will be held Sunday, Dec. 14 from 2-4 p.m.
