Domestic violence topic for Hadassah event

Hadassah Southern Arizona will hold a luncheon meeting on Sunday, Nov. 16 at noon at Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. Saint Andrews Drive.

Shoshana Elkins, MSW, LCSW, vice president of clinical services at Jewish Family & Children’s Services, will speak on “Understanding the True Impact of Domestic Violence and Abuse in the Jewish Community.”

Elkins has more than 19 years of experience in adult, child, family, couples and seniors therapy. She specializes in the treatment of children and adult survivors of trauma, addiction, eating disorders, anger and family conflict.

The cost is $25 for members and $17 for nonmembers. To RSVP, send a check payable to Hadassah to Lois Bodin, 7537 E. Camino Amistoso, Tucson, AZ 85750, by Nov. 12. Include your entree choice of orange roughy, grilled salmon or vegetable Wellington.
