Shalom Tucson brunch will spotlight synagogues

Shalom Tucson will present the ninth annual Gateway to our Synagogues bagel brunch on Sunday, Aug. 14, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Tucson Jewish Community Center at 3800 E. River Road.

The event, which is for newcomers and anyone interested in hearing about Tucson’s synagogues, is one of Shalom Tucson’s most popular free Sunday morning bagel brunches.

Attendees will be able to chat with representatives from Tucson’s congregations, and then meet with many of the local rabbis. In addition to the synagogues, Jewish organizations and agencies will be represented.

Shalom Tucson is a project of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and the JCC. The Shalom Tucson Committee is chaired by Gail Kushner. For more information call Anne Lowe at Shalom Tucson, 577-9393, ext. 130.
