JFCS parties mark success of two programs

Jewish Family & Children’s Services will hold events celebrating two programs next month.

The LEAH — Let’s End Abusive Households program, which serves victims of domestic violence within a Jewish cultural and religious context, will mark its 11th year of service with a free house party at Covenant House on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 3 to 5 p.m.. The event, sponsored by the LEAH advisory committee, is an opportunity to raise funds and awareness of this often hidden crisis. Covenant House is located at 4414 E. Second Street. OneStop Home Medical Equipment, formerly the Irving Greenfield Tucson Loan Chest, will hold an open house to celebrate its new name and location at 3919 E. Pima St. on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. OneStop provides affordable access to home medical equipment for loan and purchase. Light refreshments will be served.
