‘Clean comic,’ writer for Seinfeld, to perform

Temple Emanu-El Women of Reform Judaism will present an evening with comedian Keith Barany on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Barany calls himself a “clean comic” who proves that comedians can be tasteful and hilarious without being corny; his website is pg-comedy.com. He currently contributes to “The Jimmy Kimmel Show,” was a contributing writer for “Seinfeld” and co-wrote Garry Shandling’s monologue for the 2004 Emmy Awards. He has also entertained U.S. troops overseas five times in four years.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $18, or $25 with a dessert reception after the show. To reserve, call 327-4501.
