Jacob Schumer will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Oct. 31, 2026, at Kol Ami Synagogue. He is the son of Dr. Corey Schumer and Jennifer Schumer.
Jacob attends Basis of Oro Valley. He loves creating games on Roblox and enjoys riding his bike, playing baseball, coding, and Ninja gymnastics. He also likes hanging out with his friends and playing basketball.
For his mitzvah project, he is collecting donations such as notebooks, pencils, shampoo, and soap for Youth On Their Own (YOTO), a dropout prevention program that supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County.
