Sally Duchin, age 88, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
“I’ll remember Sally as a tremendous force for good, and I’ll always admire her for her deep commitment to Jewish education,” said Ed Wright, the Director of the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies. “She and (her husband) Ralph (z”l) established the Sally and Ralph Duchin Campus Lecture Series in 2013, and since then the Series has offered over 80 lectures on diverse topics in Judaic Studies that have been attended by over 4,000 people and viewed by thousands more online. Sally’s vision and efforts have had a truly transformative impact on the University of Arizona. She leaves an amazing legacy, and her memory will always be a treasured blessing.”
A graveside service with livestream will be held for Sally on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST at Emanu El Memorial Park in Houston. The livestream will be available for viewing here.
