Temple Emanu-El WRJ creates new online gift shop, Hanukkah sale

The Baskin Blue Marbled Glass Arch Menorah is one of the items featured on the Temple Emanu-El WRJ Gift Shop's new website.

With their usual Hanukkah bazaar curtailed by the coronavirus pandemic, the Women of Reform Judaism at Temple Emanu-El have created an online gift shop and will be holding a 20% sale on Hanukkah items Nov. 23-Dec. 1.

Items can be browsed here, including newly arrived menorahs, menorah drip trays, and Hanukkah-themed dog toys. Many items are one of a kind or moving quickly, says Bonnie Jacobson, a member of the Temple Emanu-El WRJ leadership council.

After checkout, purchasers will receive an email receipt and instructions to choose a pickup time. Purchases will ready for drive-by pickup on Sunday, Dec. 6, in time for the first night of Hanukkah on Dec. 10. Masks are required for pickup.

Profits from the Temple Emanu-El gift shop support the Temple Emanu-El/Congregation Or Chadash Joint Religious School and madrichim (teen teachers’ aides) program.
