UA panel to address significance of controversial monuments

TUCSON, Ariz. — In light of recent events, cities across the country are wrestling with what to do with historical monuments in their midst. Three experts from the University of Arizona’s history department — Susan CraneKatie Hemphill and Tyina Steptoe — will participate in a panel discussion that will attempt to give context to controversy. The event is free and open to the public.
