Mega Challah Bake

On Oct. 23, 250 women and girls came together at the Tucson Jewish Community Center for the second annual Mega Challah Bake, co-sponsored by Chabad Tucson. Along with learning to prepare and braid challah dough (the loaves were taken home for baking), participants danced a hora that encircled the ballroom, played games, tasted a variety of challah flavors and dips, and learned about the mitzvah of making challah. The event was part of the global Shabbos Project.
