Karina Reizman and Rabbi Ben Herman announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robin and Ben Dishman of San Diego and Aaron Reizman of Long Beach, Calif. Karina will receive a Bachelor of Arts in family and human development from the University of Arizona in May and is planning to become a child life specialist.
The groom is the son of Laurie and Bruce Herman of Milwaukee. Ben graduated from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York and serves as assistant rabbi of Congregation Anshei Israel.
The wedding is planned for June 1 in Scottsdale. The couple will be moving in June from Tucson to Long Island, N.Y., where Ben will become rabbi of the Jericho Jewish Center.
