B’nai Mitzvah

Lily Isabel Wexler

bnai lily wexler rgbLily Isabel Wexler, the daughter of Allison and Michael Wexler, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on April 12 at Congregation Or Chadash.

She is the granddaughter of Charlene and Sam Wexler of Chicago and Jerry and Sue Zandman of New York.

Lily attends Esperero Canyon Middle School. She is a cheerleader for the Tucson Foothills Chargers and enjoys performing in school plays. She is also a member of Handmaker Youth Leadership Team. She volunteers regularly at Handmaker and at a Petsmart adoption center for In the Arms of Angels rescue group.

She also fosters underage puppies and raises money for In the Arms of Angels locally and raises awareness and funds for www.GreaterGood.org to care for dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Thailand, as part of her mitzvah project.
