They discussed solutions to everyday congregational problems, explored Torah-based governance, improved leadership skills and networked. Speakers — and study partners — included URJ President Rabbi Rick Jacobs, URJ Chairman of the Board of Trustees Steve Sacks and Hebrew Union College — Jewish Institute of Religion President Rabbi Aaron Panken.

In her new position, she will maintain the ongoing operation of the shelter and implement development goals, policies and procedures. Sapp has held a variety of food and beverage roles with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, including overseeing openings and operations in the United States, Canada and the Middle East. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
