They discussed solutions to everyday congregational problems, explored Torah-based governance, improved leadership skills and networked. Speakers — and study partners — included URJ President Rabbi Rick Jacobs, URJ Chairman of the Board of Trustees Steve Sacks and Hebrew Union College — Jewish Institute of Religion President Rabbi Aaron Panken.

SONY DSCTHE HERMITAGE CAT SHELTER has promoted LEE BUCYK to executive director. Bucyk has worked at the Hermitage since June 2013 as assistant director and marketing/media contact. In her new position, she will maintain the ongoing operation of the shelter and implement development goals, policies and procedures. Sapp has held a variety of food and beverage roles with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, including overseeing openings and operations in the United States, Canada and the Middle East. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
