The Free Loan at the Jewish Federation received a $10,000 grant from the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona last month. Allison Wexler, executive director of the Free Loan, said the organization has made four Covid-19 Relief Loans since being notified of the award on Sept. 8. Arizona Theatre Company will bring live theatre back to the Temple of Music & Art in Tucson in January and the Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix in February – albeit to limited audiences – with a six-show mainstage season chosen by Artistic Director Sean Daniels. In addition, ATC will release a limited-time broadcast of each performance for ticket holders uncomfortable returning to the theatre to view at home. The season will include “Justice A Musical,” about Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sandra Day O’Connor, the first two women to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
