Shaliach to give trip tricks at ‘Israel to Go’

The Weintraub Israel Center and the Tucson Jewish Community Library will present “Israel to Go,” an event designed to help participants plan a trip to Israel, on Sunday, March 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the library, located in the Tucson Jewish Community Center.

Guy Gelbart, director of the Weintraub Israel Center, who will lead the seminar, says that in the last several years, “Israel became tourism heaven. The significant improvement in security thanks to the security fence has encouraged people from all over the world to come and visit this tiny piece of land.” In 2010, he notes, more than 2.3 million people visited Israel, with some estimates putting the number at greater than 3 million.
