Former diplomat to probe Arab revolutions

Former U.S. Ambassador Thomas Price will speak on “Change in the Arab World: Opportunity or Menace?” at a meeting of the Tucson chapter of Parents of North American Israelis on Sunday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.

Price, a visiting scholar at the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona, earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard University. He served as a diplomat in Paris, Belgrade, Washington, Malta, Abidjan, Sofia and Islamabad, opened and managed the first U.S. Embassy in the newly independent Armenia, and directed the political section of the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan, among other postings.
