HILLEL LEVY has been appointed vice president of leadership and principal giving at the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. He was previously the senior vice president for campaign at the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and most recently executive director of Handmaker Foundation. Levy moved to Tucson in 1998 from Miami, Fla., where he was the major gifts director for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
JULIA WATERFALL-KANTER has been appointed executive director for Social Venture Partners Greater Tucson. SVP invests in nonprofit organizations financially and uses a hands-on approach by lending professional and human resources to the organizations. Waterfall-Kanter was previously the vice president for fund development at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.
