Six fine kosher wines will be featured at the Temple Emanu-El Women of Reform Judaism “Beyond Manischewitz” Kosher Wine Tasting on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Temple Emanu-El sukkah. Five local chefs will pair samples of their favorite recipes with the wines. Chefs will also give food and wine-pairing tips for preparation at home.
Participating restaurants/caterers include 47 Scott, elle wine country restaurant, Naked Food & Fitness, Shlomo & Vito’s and Sous Chef. Coffee and sparkling cider will also be available. The event is a fundraiser for continuing Jewish education opportunities for Kurn Religious School teachers.
