ELLIE MACKIE, daughter of Elysa and Jim Mackie, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, June 19 at Congregation Chaverim.
She is the granddaughter of Sheila and Joe Dobrzynski of Sea Girt, N.J., Nancy and the late Albert Mackie of Amelia Island, Fla., and Kathy and the late Ted Migdon of Long Island, N.Y.
Ellie attends Orange Grove Middle School where she is on the volleyball team. She is on the Dance Force One dance team and enjoys acting. For her mitzvah project, she is collecting dance shoes for underprivileged children.
