Kol Ami Synagogue invites the community to their Jewish Food Festival and open house on Sunday, August 13, from 2-4 pm.
Jewish food is extremely diverse and reflective of the many regions where Jews have settled. There are Jewish communities on every continent, and each community has its own unique regional cuisine, including Southern Arizona.
Kol Ami is the newest synagogue with the oldest roots in Southern Arizona. Temple Emanu-El and Congregation Or Chadash joined in 2022 to create Kol Ami Synagogue. Food has also brought people together in the community, and Kol Ami hopes to carry on the tradition. Kol Ami invites you to experience the synagogue and its diverse members and food by attending the open house and the Kol Ami Jewish Food Festival.
You can sample homemade Jewish food from Kol Ami interest groups and committees at the Fest. There will be over 15 foods to sample and a digital recipe book to make them at home! There will be plenty of activities for the kids in the Religious School, tours of the Early Childhood Education Center, a choir performance with live music, a meditative chanting experience, and so much more!
We hope to see you with your family and friends!
