Quinn McVeigh is the Arizona Jewish Post’s intern for spring 2021. McVeigh is a junior at the University of Arizona majoring in journalism and environmental studies with a minor in natural resources. His interest in interning with the AJP stems from his high school years, when he had meaningful Jewish experiences in BBYO and other youth organizations. In college, McVeigh has written articles for the Arizona Daily Wildcat and Tucson Local Media, and has cultivated his interest in nonprofit organizations through internships with TEDxTucson and the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, an Israeli environmental company. His favorite subjects to report on include mental health, business, and the environment.
Kylie Truckner has joined the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona as a marketing coordinator. Truckner has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in psychology from the University of Arizona. She has more than three years of marketing experience at LandHub and Kirk Coaching, both based in Tucson, and enjoys using all aspects of digital marketing to connect with the community.
