Morton Kiel Kranitz, 94, died Dec. 11, 2020.
He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a successful shoe salesman before entering the automotive business. He was the longtime proprietor of Kranitz Automotive Group (later Mort’s Auto Brokerage) in Tucson. Mort was honored in 2016 with a lifetime achievement award from the American Cancer Society for almost 40 years of volunteer service. He was a member of Congregation Anshei Israel and helped to found Tucson Hebrew Academy.
Services were held graveside at Evergreen Cemetery and virtually via Viewneral.
