Concert to mark end of Hanukkah in Oro Valley

Rabbi Tzvi Rimler (Chabad Oro Valley)

Chabad Oro Valley will host an “End of Hanukkah” sing-along concert Monday, Dec. 10. Australian-born musician and composer Rabbi Tzvi Rimler, of Noteworthy Live band in Chandler, Arizona, will perform contemporary and old Eastern European Jewish favorites, along with anecdotes and stories.

First introduced to the piano at age 7, Rimler cut his teeth on classical music but adapted to klezmer and contemporary Jewish music. He debuted at the Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn at the lighting of the world’s largest menorah. His one-man-band career took him to venues across the East Coast. Relocating to Arizona three years ago, he now entertains at weddings, b’nai mitzvahs, and concerts.

The concert begins at 11 a.m. at The Country Club at La Cholla, 8700 N. La Cholla Blvd. There is a $10 cover charge. For more information, contact Mushkie Zimmerman at 477-8672 or mushkie@jewishorovalley.com.
