MICHELLE BLUMENBERG, executive director of the UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA HILLEL FOUNDATION, and AMALIA MARK, UA Hillel director of Jewish student life, attended the Hillel International Global Assembly in Orlando Dec. 14-17. The convention focused on inclusion of students with disabilities, pluralism and mental health on campus.

ot Sivan Korn2_12-15SIVAN KORN has joined the law firm of Rusing, Lopez & Lizardi, PLLC. Korn holds law degrees from Israel and the United States (Fordham Law School). She began her legal career in 1999 at the Israel Ministry of Justice, continued at the New York office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, and practiced as a litigator in Tucson since 2005, when she joined Lewis Roca Rothgerber, LLP. Korn has experience in all types of commercial litigation and serves as a judge pro tempore on the civil bench of the Pima County Superior Court.

The fifth annual Marana Winterfest, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will benefit the Marana Community Food Bank, a branch of the COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA. The festival, which will feature a vendor fair, car show and live entertainment, will be held at Marana Marketplace (Orange Grove and River).
