BENNETT LAZARUS SILVYN, son of Jeff and Keri Silvyn, will celebrate becoming a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at Congregation Or Chadash. He is the grandson of Benita Silvyn and Charles Whitehill of Tucson and Larry and Marlys Lazarus of Scottsdale. He is the great-grandson of Maurice and Marjorie Lazarus of Scottsdale. Bennett attends Esperero Canyon Middle School where he plays basketball. He enjoys all sports, particularly basketball and soccer. For his mitzvah project, he is working with Youth On Their Own and the Boys and Girls Club to donate hygiene items and sports equipment.
