Lori and Harvey Meislin announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Anne Meislin, to Michael Conti Mica, son of Sal and Rosalie Conti Mica of Chicago and Jupiter Beach, Fla.
Megan attended the University of Washington and received an undergraduate degree in molecular biology. She attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she received her M.D. degree with distinction in research. She graduated from the orthopedic surgery residency at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and is currently at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., completing a subspecialization in hand surgery.
Michael attended Boston University, where he was on the varsity rowing team, and graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is currently a senior resident in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine. He will pursue a subspecialization in orthopedic spine surgery.
The couple plans a fall 2015 wedding in Tucson. They will live in Chicago.
