judy sensibar 3JUDY ROSE SENSIBAR took over as executive director at the JEWISH HISTORY MUSEUM last month, succeeding Eileen Warshaw, who held the post for 10 years. Sensibar has been a middle and high school English and social studies teacher in Tucson; Pittsburgh; and Jakarta, Indonesia. She taught writing at Pima Community College and was a program developer and teacher at Kore Press. She is vice president of Davis Bilingual Elementary PTA and serves on the education committee at Congregation Chaverim. Sensibar holds a B.A. with honors in English from Brown University, state teaching certification from Arizona State University and an M.F.A. from the University of Arizona.

ARIZONA THEATRE COMPANY’s board of trustees has elected Cameron Artigue, an attorney with Gammage & Burnham in Phoenix, as president. Robert Glaser, principle at PICOR Commercial Real Estate Properties in Tucson, remains as chair. Other Tucson members of the executive committee are Lynne Wood Dusenberry (Tucson vice president), who is retired from the University of Arizona, and Dina Scalone- Romero (assistant secretary), who is executive director of Therapeutic Riding of Tucson.

Most recently he was with Marriott International’s J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa. He was appointed to the Meeting Professional Interational board of directors from 2010 to 2013 and is a member of Visit Tucson’s Marketing Co-Op board and the Tucson International Airport Authority lift task force.
