Rabbi Laibl Wolf aims “to reroute your life back on the original track” with his lecture, “Be Strong In the Face of Crisis: Five Powerful Tools to Spiritual, Mental and Emotional Survival,” which he’ll present for Chabad Tucson on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. at Congregation Young Israel.
He’ll explore esoteric aspects of Torah and its power to create happiness and neutralize anxiety.
“We have become lost in understanding some basic qualities of life,” Wolf says. “With the mass media projecting images that are showing us contradictory pieces of evidence, simple truths of life have evaded the current generation.”
A teacher of spirituality for decades, Wolf is the son of Holocaust survivors. He was ordained in Israel and holds degrees in law, psychology and comparative religions. His book, “Practical Kabbalah: A Guide to Jewish Wisdom for Everyday Life,” draws upon ancient wisdom to offer modern techniques for understanding the human soul, emotions and mind.
Admission is $15 in advance; $18 at the door. RSVP at www.ChabadTucson.com/RSVP.
