Bryan Pisetsky will join the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona as campaign manager full time beginning April 3. He will relocate to Tucson from California with his wife, Kira, and two children.
Pisetsky’s professional career has included an outreach fellowship with the Las Vegas Hillel Center for Jewish Student Life at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a position as director of undergraduate admissions for the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. More recently, he owned and operated a group of Mathnasium franchises.
Pisetsky also has been active as a lay leader in his synagogue and as a board member of his local Jewish Community Center. JFSA CEO Stuart Mellan notes, “Bryan has a passion for Jewish life that is infectious. He and his family will be a wonderful addition to our community.”
Pisetsky will manage a portfolio of projects similar to that of Marlyne Freedman, senior vice president, who will retire at the end of May. Additionally, Brenda Landau, vice president of community planning and Women’s Philanthropy, has been promoted to senior vice president. She will work closely with Pisetsky and Sarah Langert, director of leadership development and public relations, who are part of the development team.
