Heidi Felix, daughter of Simcha and Margarita Felix of Tucson, and Daniel Stokes, son of Barbara and the late William Stokes of Torrance, Calif., were married Sunday, June 24, 2012 at La Mariposa Resort in Tucson. Rabbi Ben Herman of Congregation Anshei Israel officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of Julia Martinez of Los Angeles, Calif.
The maid of honor was Lizette Garcia of Tucson and the best man was Michael Chartrand of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Phoenix. She is a preschool teacher at The Olga and Bob Strauss Center for Early Childhood Education at Temple Emanu-El.
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in special education and rehabilitation from the University of Arizona College of Education. He is a job developer/job coach at WEDCO Employment and Training Center.
The couple, who met at Chabad at the UA, honeymooned in Sedona.
