Emily McDonnell and Brad Cohen of Chapel Hill, N.C. were married on November 7, 2024.
The wedding took place in Tucson at The Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch with Rabbi Yosef Lopez (Tucson) officiating.
Emily is the daughter of Lewis and Esther (Tucson and Kayenta), and Brad is the son of Pat and Lee (Dallas). The maid of honor was Emily’s childhood friend Merry Manson (Phoenix). The best man, Ryan Mitchell (Tucson) is the groom’s friend from college.
Emily and Brad met as students at the University of Arizona in 2011, lived in Tucson until 2019, and still come back frequently to visit family and friends. Emily is currently a PhD candidate in American Studies with a concentration in American Indian/Indigenous Studies at UNC Chapel Hill. The couple plan to honeymoon in Europe in 2025.
