Jeanette Baras

Jeanette Baras, 91, died Aug. 26, 2011.
Born in Reading, Pa., Ms. Baras spent the first half of her life there and was a licensed practical nurse. She moved to Tucson in 1970 and was employed by Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging as a nurse. Later, she received degrees in Oriental studies and counseling from the University of Arizona.
Ms. Baras was preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Jaffe, and her second husband, Hyman Baras. Survivors include her sons, Charles Jaffe of Tucson, David Jaffe of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and daughter, Eileen Jaffe of Florence, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
