Mel Brickman

Mel Brickman, 85, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died  Aug. 26, 2011.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Brickman lived in Tucson for many years. He attended the University of Arizona and served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was the general manager of several automobile dealerships as well as the director of sales training for the Van Tuyl corporation. Mr. Brickman was a 32nd degree Master Mason, Epes Randolph Lodge for 60 years.
Survivors include his son, Dr. Leslie (Twyla) Brickman of Nairobi, Kenya; brother, David (Suzanne) Brickman of Tarzana, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and companion of 17 years, Harriet Frenzel.
Arrangements were made by Green Acres Mortuary of Scottsdale.
