Max Mindes, 81, died June 4, 2010.
Born in New York City, Mr. Mindes retired in 1995 after 31 years of civil service at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rhoda; children, Irving (Terry) Mindes and Louis (Pam) Mindes, both of Tucson, and Robert (Julie) Mindes of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; brother, Samuel (Roz) Mindes of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister, Sylvia of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren and three great-granchildren.
Services were held at East Lawn Palms Chapel with Rabbi Thomas Louchheim of Congregation Or Chadash officiating. Interment followed in East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
