Lester Ira Wortzel, 92, died May 23, 2010.
Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Wortzel was a furniture salesman from 1956 to 1999, when he retired at the age of 83. He moved to Tucson in 2005.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Rachel; children, Karyle Klasz of Moab, Utah, and Kenny (Sandra) Wortzel of Tucson; sister, Ruth; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary, with Rabbi Helen Cohn of Congregation M’kor Hayim officiating.
