Gary and Randy Emerson have formed GRE PARTNERS LLC, commercial real estate brokerage and consulting. Randy is the designated broker for the firm with offices at 2424 E. Broadway Blvd., Suite 202. Gary focuses on the leasing and sale of industrial and investment properties while Randy deals in land transactions. They have a combined 40 years of experience in the Southern Arizona real estate market and were formerly with Bourn Partners, which recently announced a merger with CB Richard Ellis. THE TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER staff and families were among the “Real Heroes” of 2010 honored by the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross at a breakfast on June 3. According to the organization’s website, www.redcrossarizona.org, several staff members and parents rushed to help when Stacy Ramsower, a JCC administrative assistant, was knocked down by a car when the driver hit the accelerator instead of the brake while parking. Some helped push the car off Ramsower, who was not critically injured; others administered first aid and called 911.

DAVID L. BERKMAN and ANDY SILVERMAN were among the State Bar of Arizona 2010 Award Winners honored at a luncheon June 11 in Glendale. Berkman, chief criminal deputy with the Pima County Attorney’s Office, received the Distinguished Public Lawyer Award. Silverman, a professor at the James E. Rogers College of Law, University of Arizona, received the Sharon A. Fullmer Legal Aid Attorney of the Year Award.
