Bernard “Bernie” Weinstein, 82, died May 23, 2010.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisc., Mr. Weinstein grew up in Tucson, attending Roskruge Elementary, Wakefield Jr. High, Tucson High and the University of Arizona. He graduated from the UA Law School in 1954 and began a long career as an attorney. He also served as a Tucson City Magistrate.
Survivors include his children, Carrie (Barry) Rosen of Columbus, Ohio, Steven (Joann) Weinstein of Tucson, and Milton J. Weinstein of Lomitas, Calif.; four grandchildren; and long-time love and companion, Pamela Stark Cooper.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary with Rabbi Robert Eisen officiating. Interment followed in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Congregation Anshei Israel.
