Arthur Berg, 88, died Nov. 9, 2010.
Born in New York City, Mr. Berg graduated from James Monroe High School in the Bronx. Mr. Berg retired from American Airlines and moved to Tucson in 1983.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Hannah; daughters, Carol Krizman of Tucson and Fonda (Sam) Leibowitz of Plainview, N.Y.; sister, Rosalie Trifon of New Hyde Park, N.Y.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary with Rabbi Robert Eisen, Rabbi Arthur Oleisky and Cantor Ivor Lichterman officiating. Interment followed in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Congregation Anshei Israel or the Tucson Chapter of Hadassah.
