Of Blessed Memory: Herman Zelig Neuberger

Herman Zelig Neuberger of Scottsdale, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, with family by his side.

He was born on July, 1, 1937, to parents Adele and Rabbi Adam Neuberger in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his children, Scot (Bonnie), Felice, Nanci (Eric) of Tucson, David (Claire); and by his grandchildren, Adam, Sarah, Jason, Rachel, and Kaileen.

His life was dedicated to his art. He loved to create and work with his hands. From a career as an architect, to a full re-creation of downtown Chicago in the form of a model train, to plaster and metal sculpture art, to realistic pencil drawings, “Through Windows of Time,” using the pen name, “Zelig,” Herman was a dedicated, true artist. His art was his joy and his legacy.

Graveside services were held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale.
