Blake Zoey Belen, daughter of Megan and Cary Belen, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at Kol Ami Synagogue.
Blake attends Orange Grove Middle School. She is an active member of National Charity League and a competitive swimmer for Tucson Ford Aquatics. She also keeps busy as the premier pet sitter in her neighborhood. Her hobbies include sewing, listening to all types of music, and writing and reading poetry. Blake loves traveling and exploring new places, especially big cities.
For her mitzvah project, she is partnering with Cinderella’s Closet, a local nonprofit that provides formal wear to teen girls in Southern Arizona at no cost. Blake organized a dress drive and was able to collect over 50 formal gowns to donate to their boutique.
