Ivan Arthur Moravec, son of Bryan Moravec and Meg Knight, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Feb. 14, 2026 at Kol Ami Synagogue.
Ivan attends The Gregory School. He is passionate about sports and plays both baseball and tennis. He also has a strong love for music; he sings in his school’s choir and plays the clarinet, tenor saxophone, and piano. In his free time, Ivan enjoys indoor climbing, speed cubing, cooking, biking, and playing games.
For his mitzvah project, Ivan is organizing a mid-season skills clinic for Canyon View Little League, bringing together youth for an afternoon of baseball instruction, mentorship, and fun. As part of the clinic, he is also holding a baseball clothing and equipment drive that will benefit a youth baseball league in South Tucson.
