Community in Unity featuring Rabbi Sharon Brous

“The challenge today is to be animated by both gratitude and unrest, by humility and audacity, and to feel the exodus from Egypt — our people’s journey from slavery to freedom, from degradation to dignity — in our guts. Our Jewish story calls us to become agents of social change whose fiercest weapons are love, faith and holy hutzpah.” — Rabbi Sharon Brous

Jewish Family & Children’s Services and Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center are proud to present a very special event, Community in Unity featuring Rabbi Sharon Brous, founder and senior rabbi of IKAR in Los Angeles and author of the bestselling book, The Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Heal our Heart and Mend our Broken World. Rabbi Brous is a leading voice in reanimating religious life in America, working to develop a spiritual roadmap for a soulful, justice-driven, multi-faith ethos in her community and around the country.

Understanding that our local, national, and global communities are fractured and bruised from years of political, racial, economic, and cultural strife, this event seeks to create both reflection and response. Through Rabbi Brous’s rich and deep understanding of the pain and potential of this fraught time, she will guide us in a dynamic, engaging, and enriching conversation that explores ways for our own diverse Southern Arizona community to come together.

Individual general admission tickets for this event are $18. VIP Admission tickets are available for $75 each and include priority seating as well as a very special private pre-event reception with Rabbi Brous. Get your tickets here and join us for Community in Unity featuring Rabbi Sharon Brous on November 17 at the Berger Performing Arts Center (1200 West Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ) at 2:00 pm.
