Dr. Seneca Erman passed away on Sept. 29, 2021. Seneca was the husband of Dorothy Erman z”l; father of Cantor Janece Cohen, Dr. Spencer (Nancy) Erman, and Dr. Russ (Anat) Erman; grandfather of Brayton (Danielle), Derek, Lara, Zachary (Katie), Jared (Erica), and Ariel, great grandfather of Aivi, Cillian, Abigail, and Deborah.
A funeral was held on Sunday, Oct. 3, at 10:00 am at the Country Club campus in the Rubin Family Sanctuary, with Rabbi Thomas Louchheim officiating. It was followed by internment at 11:30 am at Evergreen Cemetary in the Or Chadash section.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dorothy & Seneca Erman Memorial Concert Fund, to provide for an annual cantorial concert for Kol Ami and the greater Tucson Jewish community.
