Havah Beth Haskell, DVM, 47, died Nov. 1, 2020 at age 47 after coping with breast cancer since early 2019.
Havah was born on June 27, 1973 in Philadelphia to her parents, Andrea Haskell and Albert Roy Morgan. Havah was raised by her mother and stepfathers in Vista, California, and graduated from Vista High School in 1991. Soon after, Havah moved to Virginia where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Havah relocated to Arizona, where she eventually met and married Noah Cohen. Havah and Noah raised a family and later divorced in 2018, though they remained loving friends. Havah purchased, expanded, and sold Rolling Hills Pet Clinic, where she served as a talented and compassionate veterinarian, helping clients and their pets throughout Southern Arizona.
Survivors include her children, Alec and Anna Cohen; siblings, Judah Grossman, Brenda Russell, and Darren Dinnel; and her dear partner, Michael Singer, DVM. Funeral services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity for animals in need she championed: Rolling Hills Pet Clinic, Veterinary Care Foundation, 7010 E. Golf Links Road, Tucson, AZ 85730.
Havah would often wish for others, “May the sun always shine on your face.” Dear Havah, you are well loved and deeply missed. May the sun always shine upon you.
