Claire Amigo, 86, died Aug. 17, 2020.
Claire was born Feb. 14, 1934, to Meyer and Dora Bergman. She had two sisters, Cecile and Helen. She spent her childhood in the Bronx and moved to Queens when Lois, her daughter, was born.
Claire and her husband, Al, later moved to Delray Beach, Florida, and then moved to Arizona in December 2016 to be near Lois and her husband. Al died in June 2018.
Along with spending time with family and friends, Claire loved to read, play word games, and do crossword puzzles. She played tennis in her younger days.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois (Gary) Berman, four grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services for family were held at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rabbi Stephanie Aaron of Congregation Chaverim officiating.
