Amanda Leigh Cohn, 44, died Oct. 18, 2020.
Amanda was born in Nashville, Tennessee. She moved to Tucson as an infant, and lived in California since she was 19.
Amanda loved being with her family and friends. She had an adventurous spirit, adored children and animals, was a talented hairstylist and make up artist, and had a passion for shopping with an eye for fashion and decorating.
Sadly, the family lost Amanda at the age of 44 to drug addiction, which can devastatingly happen to anybody, any family, any friend. She is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Cohn, and her grandparents on both side, Helen and Lou Silberman and Freda and Ben Cohn.
Survivors include her father, Alan and stepmother, Gail; stepbrother Derek Miller (Michelle), aunts, Syrl Silberman and Maxine Birrer, and step-grandparents, Joe and Ruth Battaglia. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, 635 W. Roger Road, Tucson, AZ 85750.
